Fevyn sat on a stump, looking out at the white stone architecture before him.  The Ayleid ruins fascinated him, he wished to learn their history, so as to understand their arms and enchantments.  He had done this with the Dwemer, and earned an unmatched reputation.

He sat with a sketchbook, drawing everything he saw.  He used this method to begin to think like the Ayleids, to see what they saw and work like they worked.

He saw and heard a Falcor above him, but paid no mind, focused completely on his work...

Vincent swooped, doing a flip by tucking in his wings before landing hard on his feet, trotting to a stop he now stood behind him. "Hey gramps," he commented looking over his shoulder and then at the ruin. "I can take you in there, you know." He added. The old man had that look in his eye that meant he wanted to learn. Vincent smiled, he thought the Aylieds were interesting. He heard a rustle in the bushes and turned a deer bounded from the spot into the forest.

Vincent reached up and rubbed his scar, blinking his mismatched eyes.

Fevyn barked a laugh. "Ha! Child, I was exploring Ayleid ruins since before your wings were strong enough to carry a stone!  I will enter the ruins when I am ready.  This is the method I have used to study ancient peoples since before you were a thought in your mother's mind, and I will not alter it for the whims of an impatient youth!"  He smiled at the boy.  "Feel free to enter on your own, however."  With a more solum air, "Guard yourself, though.  I saw some shady figures entering earlier today..."

He turned back to his drawing.  It was almost complete.  All it was lacking was-

Fevyn looked up suddenly as green light poured through the cracks in the entrance to the ruin.  A terrible scream poured through the stone, wreaking havoc on Fevyn's ears.  After a full second, everything returned to the ordinary as quickly as it had begun.

Fevyn raised himself from the ground, leaving his drawing on the stump.  "Perhaps we may be entering Aladun sooner than I had planned, after all..."

Vincent pummped his wings, hard, throwing him the ten or so fee to the door. As he threw it open, though it was heavy, and reclined his wings against his back. He drew his sword and stepped in, cautious but quick. He kept his voice quiet, his stepps soft, though he was no master of sneak.

He turned into a large room and charged in, there were several figures in the room and one of them beheld a rather angry looking dagger. The man had just turned to see Vincent when the youth had born down on hims with a two handed slam with his sword right on his head, though he did so with the flat of the blade and so the man slumpped but was not dead.  He threw his blade out in warning, his outstretched arms pointing to the two men left. He glanced in the corridor for Feyvn

Fevyn marched into the ruins after Vincent, robes billowing behind him.  As he entered the antechamber of Aladun, he saw one man lying on the floor, unconscious and two others looking nervous after Vincent's quick blow to their comrade.  Fevyn raised one hand toward them, and it started glowing with magical energy.

"Tell me now, what desecration do you reek on these hallowed halls?"

Panic spread quickly over their faces.  It became clear to Fevyn that they were fighting someone else's fight, not their own.  Their eyes met and found a new resolve in a greater terror of some force not present.  They charged at Fevyn and Vincent, in a last desperate hope for their lives...

Vincent Pushed hard with his wings again, sending him flying forward. His blade pieced the gut of a robed figure, he coughed a throaty scream before Vincent ripped it out of his side. He just spun fast enough to parry the dagger from the final man. He swung his blade but it was ducked. His leg flew out to catch the man in the chin but he feinted it.

Vincent was tiring of this fight and leapt backwards. He took a defensive stance and readied himeslf for the next attack. What he didn't expect was a ten foot bolt of lightningh to hit him in the chest and send him flying to the back of the room. He groaned and stood again, avoiding another bolt as the man turned to Fevyn.

"Look out!" He called,

The bolt flew from the man's fingertips,.

Fevyn stumbled backward.  Between his robes and Vincent's warning, he was well prepared for the blow.  His opponent, however, was not expecting the magic to be reflected.  He cried out in pain and fell to his knees, giving Fevyn time to recover as the other man did himself.  When he lunged foreword with his dagger, Fevyn was ready with a glowing hand extended.  He froze the man's dagger in midair.  The man paused for a moment, tugging at his blade in shock.  Before he could recover, Fevyn had placed his hand on it, freezing and then easily snapping the blade.  Panic filled the man's eyes to the point of despair as he stood paralyzed with fear.  Fevyn placed a chilly hand on the man's neck.

"Now, for my answers please."
